Custom-built software for pool companies

Built for one pool company. Yours.

PoolFoundry builds your field app and back office around how you actually run routes, chemistry, and billing. Then we hand you the keys. Your code. Your server. Your data. Owned, not rented.

foundry (FOUND-ree) noun

A workshop where raw metal is melted down and cast into a finished part, each one shaped to its own mold. Nothing generic comes out of a foundry. Every piece is made for one job.

We named it that on purpose. We take a core that already runs a real pool company, then cast it to the exact shape of yours.

01 / The problem

Pool software is built for everyone. Which means it fits no one.

Every platform on the market rents you the same app it rents ten thousand other companies. Your dosing rules, your service tiers, the way you bill, the report your clients expect: all of it gets crammed into someone else's template. Want a change? Get in line behind every other subscriber and hope it makes the roadmap.

THE METER

Rent that never ends

Per-pool fees that grow right alongside you. Pay for a decade, own nothing, and the price goes up the better you do.

THE MISFIT

Workarounds on workarounds

Spreadsheets on the side, sticky notes in the truck, "just remember" rules. The software almost fits, so your team quietly does the rest by hand.

THE HOSTAGE

Your data, their servers

Ten years of client history, gate codes, and equipment records living on a platform you could outgrow next season. Leaving means starting over.

02 / The product

Every screen built around the way you already work.

PoolFoundry starts from a hardened core that runs a real pool company every single day. Then we shape it to yours: your workflows, your rate card, your rules, your name on the door.

Reports your clients brag about

Every visit ends with a photo report in your brand and your voice. The kind of paper trail that justifies premium pricing and wins referrals.

Routes & run orders

Stops in the order you set, gate codes, pets, access notes, per-stop history.

Chemistry engine

Your dosing logic, LSI on every visit, trends that flag drift before it becomes green.

Photo proof, every visit

Timestamped photos burned into the record. Disputes end before they start.

Work orders & job tickets

Receipts, parts, and hours captured in the field, so you finally know your real repair margin.

Invoicing your way

Bill how you already bill: flat, tiered, chem-included or chem-billed-back. Built to steer clients toward Zelle, so card fees stop eating your margin.

Reports you never have to run.

You decide what you want to track and how it shows on your dashboard. We build it in. After that, the reports are simply there, live, any time you want to look: margin by route, chemical cost per pool, callbacks, unbilled work, who's on time. Nothing to generate, nothing to run.

03 / The process

From walkthrough to your phone in days. Not quarters.

No spec documents, no discovery phases, no change-order theater. You talk, we build, your techs are using it while the other guys would still be scheduling kickoff calls.

STEP 01

The Walkthrough

Ninety minutes, operator to operator. How you route, dose, quote, bill, and report. Plain questions about how your company actually runs.

STEP 02

The Forge

We shape our battle-tested core to your company: your workflows, your rate card, your branding. A working version lands on your phone within days.

STEP 03

The Handoff

Your data migrates in from Skimmer, Pool Service Software, or spreadsheets. The code lands in your GitHub, the server in your cloud account. You hold the deed.

STEP 04

The Watch

We host, monitor, back up, and update it. When something needs attention, you call and a human who knows your exact build answers.

04 / Ownership

Read the deed. It has your name on it.

This is the part no subscription can match. If PoolFoundry disappeared tomorrow, your software keeps running. It is built on standard, boring, well-documented technology that any developer on earth can maintain.

Nobody can raise your rent. Nobody can sunset the feature your whole operation depends on. Nobody can hold ten years of client history hostage. Walk away whenever you like: the system stays, because it was never ours to take back.

CERTIFICATE OF OWNERSHIP POOLFORGE BUILD
01

THE CODE

A private repository in your own GitHub account. Every line, yours. Auditable, portable, inheritable.

02

THE SERVER

Runs in your own cloud account, roughly $25 a month, paid by you, controlled by you.

03

THE DATA

Your clients, your visit history, your numbers. In your database, exportable any day you like.

04

THE APP

On your techs' phones, under your company name if you want it there. Yours in the store, not ours.

05 / The guild

You own your software. You join a guild of operators.

PoolFoundry operators are not customers of a faceless platform. They are a guild. A private members' board where you share what you have built, post what you wish existed, and trade ideas with people who run the same business you do. The best ideas get forged into the shared core, so every PoolFoundry gets stronger at once. Your build stays yours. The ground everyone stands on keeps rising. A rising tide lifts every boat.

Build once, benefit together. When one operator's idea gets forged into the core, it ships to every PoolFoundry. You are never alone with your software again.

06 / Forged early

Get in while the iron is hot.

You are not buying finished software off a shelf. You are joining at the start, while PoolFoundry is still taking shape, which is exactly when your voice carries the most weight. Founding operators do not just use the product. They forge it.

FOUNDING PERK

Founding rate, locked

The price you start at is the price you keep. Everyone who comes after pays more. You never do.

FOUNDING PERK

A direct line to the builder

You talk to the person who writes your code, not a ticket queue in another time zone.

FOUNDING PERK

Outsized say in the roadmap

Founding operators decide what gets forged next. Your problems move to the front of the line.

And it is never finished. Add a service line, change how you bill, open a commercial division, and the software reshapes to match. Rented software makes you bend to it. Yours bends to you, for as long as you own it.

07 / The math

Renting vs. owning, side by side.

Renting, 3 years ~$11,900

and at the end you own nothing, the meter keeps running, and the price went up twice.

Owning with PoolFoundry, 3 years ~$8,900

and at the end you own the whole system: app, server, data, code. The asset is on your balance sheet, not theirs.

Example: a 300-pool company. Typical per-pool platforms run around $330 a month at that size. PoolFoundry mid tier: $3,500 build + $149 a month.

The point of all this

Never switch software companies again.

You will not need to. You own it, and it was built around how you work. When you change how you work, we update the software to match. The demos, the data migrations, the retraining your whole team every three years: done, for good. This is the last platform decision you ever make.

08 / Pricing

One build fee. One honest monthly. No per-pool meter.

The build fee covers shaping the system to your company and migrating your data. The monthly keeps your asset healthy: hosting, monitoring, nightly backups, security updates, and support from people who know your exact build.

09 / Why this exists

"Every screen exists because a real route manager needed it on a 112 degree day."

POOLFORGE · BUILT IN THE EAST VALLEY, ARIZONA

PoolFoundry started inside a premium pool company in Chandler, Arizona that got tired of renting software that almost fit. So the owner built his own: routes, chemistry, work orders, invoicing, payroll, the whole operation, shaped around the way his company actually runs.

It got good enough that other operators who saw it started asking to buy it. The answer was no. The system was built for one company, and that was the entire point. Then the answer changed: we will build you your own.

That is the difference between software designed in a boardroom and software forged on a route. We are pool operators who build software, and we only build it one company at a time.

10 / Questions

Asked by every smart operator.

Do I really own it?

Yes, in the plainest sense. The code sits in a private repository in your GitHub account. The server runs in your cloud account on your card. The database is yours. We keep access so we can support and update it, and you can revoke that access any day you like. There is no license to revoke on our side, because it is not licensed. It is yours.

What happens if PoolFoundry disappears?

Your system keeps running without us. We build on standard, boring, widely known technology on purpose, so any competent developer can pick it up cold. Compare that with a platform shutting down or getting acquired, where your whole operation has 90 days to find a new home.

What about my data in Skimmer or Pool Service Software?

Migration is part of the build: clients, locations, visit history, gate codes, equipment photos, the works. We run your old platform and your new system side by side until you say switch, and the cutover happens on a quiet day of your choosing.

How long does the build take?

A working version lands on your phone within days of the walkthrough. Most companies are fully cut over in three to four weeks, and the pace is set by your schedule, not ours.

What does the monthly actually cover?

Hosting management, monitoring, nightly backups, security updates, and real support from people who know your exact build. It is the cost of keeping your asset healthy. What it is not: rent. Stop paying and you still own a working system; you just take over the upkeep.

Can it cut my card-processing fees?

Yes, by design. Your invoices encourage Zelle first (free, bank to bank) and take cards as the fallback. A 300-pool company that moves even half its clients to Zelle keeps roughly $10,000 a year the processor was taking. Your invoicing, your payment rules.

iPhone and Android?

Both. Your techs get a real native app built for one-handed use at the side of a pool with wet hands and a hose in the other. Fast camera, offline-friendly, no website pretending to be an app.

My company does things differently. Like, really differently.

Good. That is the entire reason to build instead of rent. Your chemistry philosophy, your service tiers, your billing quirks, the weird thing you do that your clients love: that all goes in. The walkthrough exists to find exactly those things.

Founding builds open

We build a few at a time. On purpose.

Every build gets the same standard: it ships when it fits your company like it was always there. One walkthrough call tells us both whether this is a fit. No deck, no pressure, no spec homework.

90 MINUTES, OPERATOR TO OPERATOR. WORST CASE, YOU LEAVE WITH A SHARPER PICTURE OF YOUR OWN OPS.
